THE MASBOT GUIDE
Make room for
your first bot.
Connect your AI, create a bot and give it a useful first task.
1. Choose your platform
Masbot runs on Windows x64. macOS, Android and iOS are planned.
Subscribe to the newsletter for product and release updates.
2. Set up your workspace
Install Masbot, sign in and unlock your workspace. Connect your wallet when prompted. Using a wallet to sign in does not enable bot payments.
Masbot shows any wallet and token-holding requirements during sign-in.
3. Connect your preferred AI
Open Settings → AI Providers and choose your connection. Follow the steps to sign in or load a local model.
- Codex: connect through your ChatGPT account.
- Cursor: connect with your Cursor account.
- Claude: connect with your Claude account.
- Ollama and LM Studio: load a compatible, tool-capable local model and start the runtime’s local server before connecting it in Masbot.
- oMLX: an Apple Silicon runtime; Masbot for macOS remains planned.
Try a compatible model from families such as Llama, Qwen, DeepSeek, Gemma, Mistral, Phi or gpt-oss. Choose one that fits your device and local runtime. Downloaded models can run locally; sign-in, research and online tools may still need internet. Model licenses and capabilities vary.
Provider plans and usage limits apply. Connecting your AI does not enable bot payments.
4. Give your bot a useful first task
Create a bot, choose an available model and describe its job. Start with a task such as “Research this Solana project and flag what I should verify.” Include the relevant project information and ask for sources.
Read the result, open its sources and follow up on uncertainty. Try the website preview to explore sample conversations.
Your work, your boundaries
- Keep your computer on and your workspace unlocked for local tasks to continue.
- Online models and connected services receive the information needed to complete your requests.
- Bot payments start off. Back up the bot wallet before choosing Ask for confirmation or Autopay within limits. Understand bot spending.
- Specialist bots and AI providers may have separate fees. Review pricing in the app before subscribing.
